Membership of MCRN is open to individuals and organisations (community groups, or registrable corporations, or incorporated associations) which agree to work within the Mission, Vision and Objectives of MCRN as outlined in the MCRN Strategic Plan and the MCRN Code of Ethics, and which are located in and/or provide services within the Blue Mountains area and/or to members of the Blue Mountains community.
Membership with MCRN automatically provides membership with the Blue Mountains Community Interagency (BMCI) which meets monthly and provides a cross-sectoral, generalist forum - open to both specialist and generalist services - enabling mangers and workers to identify services, new programs, changes in direction, ways to address issues arising for the sector, and opportunities for partnerships.

Whether you are a resident, a community service organisation or a business, resources are available to assist you to prepare for and deal with an emergency and to help you with recovery.
Resources are available such as emergency plans, toolkits, contacts and advice on how to prepare your home, self, family and pets.

Resilient Villages is a three-year pilot project which has been funded by the Federal Government’s Preparing Australian Communities Local Stream grant program, following the devastation of the 2019-20 bushfires.
The RV pilot project is one of a number of grant-funded projects in the Blue Mountains that have been underway since bushfires time.
